Polish ensemble wins Bärenreiter prize

The winners of the Göttingen Handel Competition

The Polish ensemble "Régence Sonore" – Weronika Zimnoch (violin), Krystyna Wiśniewska (violoncello) and Weronika Paine (harpsichord) – has won the Bärenreiter Urtext Prize, a highly endowed music voucher, at the Göttingen Handel Competition. The main prizewinner of the international chamber music competition, which was held during the International Handel Festival in the Lower Saxony city of Göttingen, is the Israeli ensemble "Nari Baroque", which was also awarded the special prize "Music and Space".
