Choral Music - Easter
The Saviour’s earthly existence comes to an end with the Resurrection and the Ascension. Jesus Christ, who in the lowly crib in Bethlehem started his life as a human, conquers death to become the Son of God again. There are fewer compositions for Easter than there are for Lent but they are no less deserving. The sacred vocal works by Schütz, Buxtehude, Pachelbel, Bach, and Telemann are proof of this.
