Bärenreiter goes digital ... Some of the most recent projects in our publishing catalogue include digital products for use on electronic devices. The Bärenreiter Study Score Reader App enables you to view our reliable scores on the iPad. The works are diverse, ranging from Bach’s Mass in B minor to Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, from Handel’s “Music for the Royal Fireworks” to Brahms’ Violin Concerto and from Schubert’s "Death and the Maiden" string quartet through to Fauré’s Requiem. The number of works is constantly increasing, making more and more masterpieces from the Bärenreiter catalogue digitally accessible.

In addition the book catalogue also offers digital possibilities. Via Bärenreiter contractual partners, selected titles are now available as e-books and the magazine "Musik & Kirche" is being offered as an e-journal.

Since 2017, the legendary music encyclopedia MGG (Die Musik in Geschichte und Gegenwart) can be accessed in an online version, fully updated of course!
