Woodwind Quintet
Arrangements for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Horn and Bassoon
This series expands the existing literature for Woodwind Quintet with arrangements of important works by composers not found in this genre. It offers both shorter works by Mozart, Beethoven, Verdi and Rossini for players with beginning to intermediate ensemble experience as well as more demanding works by Debussy, Grieg, Bizet, Mozart and Mussorgsky. The works chosen are popular and at the same time well-suited to the colourful world of the Woodwind Quintet. The arranger Joachim Linckelmann, a flutist and avid quintet player, has taken the utmost care to insure good idiomatic arrangements.
