Gustav Bosse Verlag celebrates its 100th birthday
Gustav Bosse Verlag, based in Kassel since 1993, is celebrating its anniversary. The company was founded in 1912 in Regensburg. After the Second World War, it developed into one of the leading publishers of music education works. Publications for all ages, including the popular Tina & Tobi for early musical education, formed the basis for the company’s reputation. Innovative projects such as JEKISS (“Jedem Kind seine Stimme” [A voice for every child]) for primary schools and Junior Band for wind groups responded to new developments in the education system. A wide range of editions for choirs, guidebooks and reference works complete the publishing programme.
