Correction of Errors At the beginning of the Duet for Figaro and the Count in Il barbiere di Siviglia, notice the correction in the bass at m. 8. This was emended by Rossini himself in his autograph manuscript when he realized that the bass note at 6 would resolve incorrectly if he left it unchanged at 8.
